Michael L. Sandy’s practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in a variety of civil litigation matters, including claims for breach of contract, family law, and estate planning.  He also provides counsel for other legal challenges, including criminal defense and general civil litigation.

Michael joined Sandy Law Firm in 2015, Michael also previously worked for Bank Midwest as a Trust Officer for two and a half years. At Bank Midwest, Michael helped clients prepare their estate plan and accomplish the goals of clients along with facilitating meetings with beneficiaries and children. Michael is a 2015 graduate of Drake School of Law. While in law school, he also completed the tax clinic helping indigent clients. He graduated from Wartburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, cum laude, in 2012.  When not in the office or in court, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife McKenzie and daughters Isabelle, Sophie and Anna. Michael, McKenzie, Isabelle, Sophie and Anna love playing with their dogs Rudy (golden retriever) and Bubba (black lab) and spending time on the lake and golf course.
